- Both families invite. Punjabi invitations tend to be warmer and less formal in register than South Indian ones.
- How it opens
- Ik Onkar for Sikh families, or a Ganesha invocation for Hindu Punjabi families
- Register
- Generous and celebratory. The card usually carries the whole week, not just the ceremony.
