Punjabi Wedding Invitation Website.
A Punjabi wedding is a run of functions across several days and often several venues, with a guest list that spreads across continents. One link handles what a stack of cards cannot.
The functions your invite has to carry
Every family keeps a different set, and skips some entirely. Tell us yours and we build to it — this is the common shape, not a rulebook.
- 01
Roka & Thaka
The families formally agree and the couple stops looking elsewhere.
- 02
Chunni Chadhai
The groom’s family welcomes the bride with a chunni.
- 03
Sangeet
The big music night, usually the one guests plan outfits around.
- 04
Jaago
The late-night procession with the decorated pot, singing through the street.
- 05
Chooda & Kalire
The maternal uncle’s ceremony for the bride, early morning.
- 06
Ghara Ghardoli & Haldi
Turmeric at both homes.
- 07
Baraat & Milni
The procession, then the formal family-by-family greeting.
- 08
Ceremony
Anand Karaj for Sikh families, pheras for Hindu Punjabi families.
- 09
Doli / Vidaai
The farewell.
- 10
Reception
Frequently the largest event of the week.
What we build differently for a Punjabi wedding
Anand Karaj and pheras are not the same ceremony
We set whichever your family holds, with the right terms and the right sequence. A Sikh ceremony has four laavan around the Guru Granth Sahib; a Hindu Punjabi one has pheras. The invite should not blur them.
Gurdwara etiquette, said once and clearly
Head covering, timing, shoes, langar. Guests unfamiliar with a gurdwara would rather read it on the invite than ask at the door.
Guests flying in from three countries
Punjabi guest lists spread across Canada, the UK and Australia. Time zones, travel notes and an optional RSVP just for the ones who need to book flights.
The wording
Sikh families commonly open with Ik Onkar or a Gurbani line; Hindu Punjabi families with a Ganesha invocation. We set Gurmukhi, Devanagari or transliteration as your family prefers.
Languages: Punjabi and English, Gurmukhi script where wanted.
See one that's live
A real invite we built, open the way a guest would see it.

Send us your names, your date and the functions you're holding. We come back with first ideas and a quote, usually the same day.
