Bengali Wedding Invitation Website.
A Bengali biye has a sequence of moments that guests actively plan around — gaye holud in the morning, subho drishti in the evening, bou bhaat days later. The invitation has to make that arc legible.
The functions your invite has to carry
Every family keeps a different set, and skips some entirely. Tell us yours and we build to it — this is the common shape, not a rulebook.
- 01
Aashirbaad
The formal blessing of the couple by both families.
- 02
Aiburobhat
The last meal as an unmarried person, hosted with much ceremony.
- 03
Gaye Holud
Turmeric, sent from one house to the other and applied.
- 04
Dodhi Mangal
The dawn meal, before the day begins in earnest.
- 05
Bor Boron
The groom’s welcome at the venue.
- 06
Subho Drishti
The first look, over betel leaves. The moment the room goes quiet.
- 07
Mala Badal & Saat Paak
Garland exchange and the seven circuits.
- 08
Sindoor Daan
The vermilion, and the ceremony’s culmination.
- 09
Bou Bhaat
The reception hosted by the groom’s family, usually two days later.
What we build differently for a Bengali wedding
Bou Bhaat needs its own invitation
It is a separate event, separate hosts, often a partly different guest list, and it lands days after the wedding. Printed cards handle this badly; a linked page handles it cleanly.
Bengali script, set as real type
Names and the invitation line in proper Bengali, sharp at any size, not a flattened image.
Built for a Kolkata-and-elsewhere guest list
Most Bengali weddings now span at least two cities. Travel notes and maps for each venue, not one address and good luck.
The wording
Invitations often open with an invocation to Durga or Narayan and are extended by the elders. The Bengali calendar date frequently appears alongside the Gregorian one. We set your family’s exact form.
Languages: Bengali and English, bilingual by default.
See one that's live
A real invite we built, open the way a guest would see it.

Send us your names, your date and the functions you're holding. We come back with first ideas and a quote, usually the same day.
